About

Brian was raised in Sammamish, WA and by God’s grace became a disciple of Christ February 9, 2003. Brian was trained in campus ministry at the University of Missouri (Columbia Church of Christ) where he met his wife (Katie) in 2005. After competing as student-athlete and reciting a scholarship, Brian served on the Mizzou’s basketball staff for 3 years and created a Bible Talk amongst staff and players. In 2009, Brian & Katie went to the West Bank of Israel where Brian played in the Palestinian Professional Basketball Association, where he was awarded MVP. After returning to the Seattle area Brian & Katie were trained in ministry by Daren & Karla Overstreet and sent out to plan the Palouse Church of Christ in Pullman, Washington in 2015. Since then, Brian’s been blessed to serve in Chaplain capacities for Washington State football and basketball teams, as well as creating a youth basketball program (Palouse Cougars) serving 100+ families in the Palouse region. In 2020, Brian began a project called ‘Pass the Rock’, applying lessons learned in sport towards discipleship of Christ. Brian & Katie have two children; Luca (11) and Ella (9)… and a big dog named Bosa.
