About the Event
Sincere Christians today are doing their best to follow the teachings of Jesus in the midst of enormous cultural pressure. In an effort to live authentic and faithful lives, many are asking questions like this: How can I be confident and steadfast in my faith when working a secular job? How can I be respectful of people at work, but resist compromising my faith? What does it look like to a public school or university, where I am consistently asked to set aside my Christian convictions? How can my faith community stand strong and also be a much needed light? So many more legitimate questions…
Join us on July 24 as we Daren & Leke interview David Young, author of the book: “Resilient: Standing Firm in a Hostile World.” David’s book has helped many Christians move from a state of shock to a state of confidence. We will explore spiritual warfare, how to navigate the world with our faith, what it means to be a faithful non-conformist, the cultural messages around sexual ethics, and how to live in fearless hope!
