It's a fair question these days, and many Christians are asking it.
True Christians will never lose sight of Jesus in any generation, but it seems as if our North American culture is losing it's patience with the wonderful lordship of King Jesus. They either water down his teachings, or change them to be more palpable to modern sensibilities.
So we have decided to engage the question by inviting Guy Hammond to take part in a Biblically Resilient Webinar.
Guy has traveled and taught perhaps more than any other teacher among the Churches of Christ over the last several years. And, he has spoken to people about maintaining a solid Biblical ethic around LGBTQ issues. We can love and respect all people while upholding a Biblical ethic of human sexuality. That alone has allowed him to get the pulse of Christians in many different cities, in all kinds of contexts, young and old.
We will dialogue with him about the future of churches in a post-Christian world.
